About TTM

History

TTM has Evolved to Meet the Needs of Our Innovative Customers.
Acquisition Timeline - 202209

TTM was incorporated in 1998 and has experienced growth and profitability that has catapulted our company into an industry leader in technology solutions and PCB manufacturing.

TTM's rapid growth began with the merger of Pacific Circuits and Power Circuits in 1999, followed by a successful IPO on the NASDAQ under ticker symbol 'TTMI' in 2000.

The company then doubled in size with its Honeywell Advanced Circuits acquisition in 2002 and again with the Tyco Printed Circuit Group acquisition in 2006. The Tyco acquisition transformed TTM into North America's largest PCB product provider for the aerospace & defense industry.

In 2010, Meadville Printed Circuit Group joined the TTM family, which doubled TTM's size and positioned it as a global leader in advanced HDI PCBs used in smartphones and tablets.  The Meadville acquisition also provided TTM with a global manufacturing footprint to better support our existing customers.

In 2015, TTM completed the acquisition of Viasystems Group, Inc, which quickly catapulted TTM into a leading position as a supplier of high-reliability automotive PCBs.

After acquiring Anaren, Inc. in 2018, TTM leveraged and expanded complementary capabilities, including TTM's strength in manufacturing printed circuit boards and Anaren's experience designing and manufacturing unique radio frequency (RF) components and subsystems. Since then, TTM has been developing new, differentiated solutions in aerospace and defense, communications, and broader commercial markets.

TTM acquired intellectual assets and technology from i3 Electronics, Inc® in 2019. This expanded TTM's comprehensive solutions offering to include substrate-like PCB (SLP) technologies.

In 2020, TTM divested its Mobility business unit, including four China-based manufacturing plants, to AKM Meadville Electronics (Xiamen) Co., Ltd. The transaction has furthered TTM's strategy of focusing on high-growth markets characterized by long product cycles.

In the same year, TTM announced the restructuring of its Electro-Mechanical Solutions ("E-MS") Business Unit. The restructuring better enables TTM to develop differentiated, higher-margin products that more fully leverage TTM's capabilities and advanced technology solutions.

Today, TTM is a global technology solutions leader and is one of the world's leading PCB and RF solutions providers. TTM supports our customers at all stages of the product lifecycle, from inception to prototype to high-volume production.
